The vice leader of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group, and also chairman of the workgroup for Western Balkan, Johann David Wadephul, said that Albania has not fulfilled any of the conditions set by the Council of Foreign Ministers on June 28th, 2018.
Wadephul published this declaration this Thursday in Berlin, as a reaction towards the positive recommendation issued by the European Commission, which was in favor of opening the EU accession negotiations with Albania.
Wadephyl confirms that there is an agreement with the German Social-Democratic parliamentary group to open the EU accession negotiations on September 2019.
