German media: “Vucic spoke the ‘unspeakable’ about Kosovo”

The opinion of the Serbian President Alexandar Vucic about Kosovo,
published by Serbian newspaper “Blic” a few days ago, has spurred
debates in Serbia and around the world.

The German daily news “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” dedicated an article to the case, saying that Vucic stepped out of the heavy shadow of Serbian history.

What Vucic said, according to the German newspaper, is the same as Erdogan accepted that there has been an Ottoman genocide against Armenians.

Vucic said that Kosov was already lost for Serbia, a stance that is very common among Serbian politicians, but few have dared to mention it fearing harsh responses from nationalistic intellectuals, orthodox bishops and other demagogues.

Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung says if there is a politician who can overcome this fear, that’s Vucic.
