Germany thinks that the negotiations with Albania must be opened for strategic reasons.
This has been declared to the Foreign Minister, Gent Cakaj, in a meeting that he held in Berlin with the German counterpart, Heiko Maas.
The Foreign Ministry of Albania announced that Maas has appreciated the country’s role in leading the OSCe, which he called not only a challenge but a great opportunity for the country to perform in the international arena.
The German Foreign Minister guaranteed Cakaj about Germany’s constant support not only in the bilateral relations, but also in its ambitions for multilateral leadership.
