Gerdec, former Chief of armed forces pleads not guilty

The defensive lawyer of the former Chief of General Armed Forces, Luan
Hoxha, asked for the General to be found not guilty over power abuse
charges, in the Gerdeci trial.
The lawyer declared that his client had only exerted his functional duties as General Chief of the Armed Forces, and had never infringed the law for the ammunition dismantling plant in Gerdec.
Hoxha’s lawyer also pretended that the prosecution has not provided any evidence for proving power abuse by Luan Hoxha. The prosecution has asked 8 years to prison for hoxha, over power abuse in cooperation charges, and no right to work in official posts for 10 years.
The lawyers also read their conclusions for some other Ministry of Defense officials, who also declared their clients as innocent.
