The Albanian Foreign Minister, Gent Cakaj, met in Skopje with his counterpart from Northern Macedonia, Nikola Dimitrov.
Cakaj said that his visit remains symbolica, but also a clear expression of the necessity to deepen the relations between both countries.
“Albania has supported the Prespa agreement and the Parliament was among the first ones who signed the protocol. The Albanians in Macedonia have been a state-forming factor, since the Ochrid Agreement. We welcome the decision for allowing Albanian as second language”.
