The Principal Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli
officially confirmed the 82nd recognition of the Kosovo independence by
the Republic of Gaboni.
“The official recognition was confirmed to the Principal Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli by the leaders of this country”, declared the cabinet of Pacolli.
The news was also confirmed by the Foreign Ministry of Kosovo.
A few weeks ago, Santa Lucia recognized the independence of Kosovo, right after Guinea, Niger and Benin.
Kosovo, Vatican: Soon good news
Kosovo citizens will soon receive good news from Vatican for the recognition of their independence and Kosovo’s sovereignty.
The declaration was released by the apostolic delegate of Vatican for Kosovo, Juluisz Janusz, during a meeting with the Kosovo Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj.
Janusz expressed the support of the Holy See for the Kosovo citizens and institutions, and also valued the progresses achieved by the new state in three years of independence.
On the other hand, Minister Hoxhaj thanked the apostolic delegate for Vatican’s continuous support.
He expressed the commitment of Kosovo institutions for strengthening the relations with the Holy See and the desire for a further engagement of this state in Kosovo.
