Fullani: Fiscal order is needed

Bank Governor Ardian Fullani asked the Albanian Politics to approve
through consensus a fiscal order that will help keeping the debt under
control.
“I invite you to realize two big reforms that will open new spaces to the Albanian economy, such as a fiscal order by the Parliament and the new law for pensions”, Fullani declared.
Fullani raised another concern during the annual report at the Parliamentary Commission of Economy, which is related with the economic growth, which doesn’t guarantee welfare for everyone.
“I have sincerely invited you to not fall in the economic growth trap, but to see beyond it. We must look forward employment and use the economic growth as an instrument that creates new jobs. For this we need clear and well prepared moves, so that we can have a structural growth”, Fullani declared.
Asked by the MPs, the governor answered to the concerns about the increased bad loans that according to him do not damage Albania’s financial stability.
“The banking system in Albania, if the growth of loans will happen with 50% more than two day, two banks in Albania will need additional capital and will go under the 12%”, Fullani declared.
