Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future
The European Commissioner for Enlargement, Stefa Fule, greeted the removal of the roadblocks in Northern Kosovo.
Fule’s declaration came after some EU member Ministers discussed about Serbia’s European future.
“This is a positive development, reviewed by the Ministers of European Matters, during the discussion if the EU leaders would be recommended to give the candidate status to Serbia”, Fule declared.
He gave no clear signal regarding the conclusions reached before the summit, but he greeted the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
In the next dialogue round, mediated by the EU last Friday, was reached the agreement for the integrated border management.
The head of the Kosovo delegation, Edita Tahiri, returned from Brussels to Prishtina and announced the details of the agreement, emphasizing that she respects Kosovo’s law and Constitution.
Tahiri also declared that with the approving of this pact, Serbia has now recognized Kosovo’s border, although Belgrade keeps calling them administrative lines.
The removal of the roadblocks from the Jagenica village was confirmed by the KFOR command, which considered this a great step forward.
