From prison to misery

After leaving the prison where was convicted for 10 months, the 17 year
old Ardian Jupi returned home, where he met his mother and his six
siblings.
The social workers, who have been securing clothes for him up to now, drove him to the house where his family lives in a misery that goes beyond any imagination.
The father wasn’t home; he was looking for a job, while the mother and the siblings gave him a warm welcome in the house that has only walls and a roof, without windows, a floor or furniture. There is only a bed where some of the children sleep – the others use a carpet that someone had given to them.
The youngest of the siblings is five years old, but none of them goes to school. Ardian has made only three years of school, and his mother says that she has no money to buy them books.
Ardian passed the last 10 months in the correction institute, after being convicted. He said that he used to steal for securing food, but now he aims to work.
