The young members of the Eurosocialist Forum (FRESSH) have donated blood
for thalassemic children, by responding to the campaign started by the
National Center of Blood Donation.
Among the people that donated blood was Erion Veliaj, SP Secretary for Youth and Emigration, who declared that we have today a situation in which Albania has 500 thalassemic children who need to receive blood twice a week.
“The Socialists believe that a nation shows its strength in what he does for the weakest, not for the strongest”.
Dr. Dhurata Rugji, from the National Center of Blood Donation, considers this campaign a good beginning, hoping that the blood donations for 2012 will be more than one year ago.
