Freedom House listed Albania among the partially free countries even for
2015, on the same category with Kosovo, while Serbia is now listed
among countries that are considered free.
Our country has the same level as before, taking 3 points from a measuring system from 1 to 7, with 1 being more freedom and 7 the most lack of it.
The group of free countries has three less, compared to one year ago.
Kosovo has went one grade up, coming to level 3 after 4 that it used to have one year ago.
Bosnia Herzegovina and Macedonia are also seen as countries facing non-functional governments.
Freedom House underlines that 2015 was the tenth consequent year in which the world freedom has reduced. The report reviews the situation in 195 countries, 86 of which are listed as free, 59 as partially free and 50 as not free.
