The Parliamentary Investigation Commission for the Tax Office Server
continued the interrogation of the former IT Director of the Tax Office,
Renald Rista, who was arrested after the Tax Office server scandal.
Rista said that the Tax Office, his direct superior, had ordered him verbally to create access to the Group of Audit from the Ministry of Finances. Rista says they have committed the illegal actions with the Tax data.
During his testimony, Rista said he had learned that the questions made to him by the Prosecution were drafted by politically affiliated people who were part of the Tax Office data cloning.
According to Rista, the cloned data could have been used to blackmail businesses related to politicians, even by criminals, if they put that information into their hands.
