The former Prosecutor General, Adriatik Llalla, has filed a request at the Supreme Court against the order that seized his assets in Albania.

The former Prosecutor claims that there has been an irregular process, based on article 6 of the European Convention.

However, the Supreme Court cannot answer to this, since they don’t have enough member judges.

The Supreme Court is now made of just four judges, who are working with most urgent cases. Sources say for Top Channel that there is a stock of more than 28,000 untreated cases.

Former Prosecutor Llalla was taken under investigation by the Prosecution of Serious Crimes right after he resigned from the justice system, to avoid the vetting process.
