The Former Minister of Culture, Esmeralda Uruci, passed away at 51, in an Austrian hospital.
The former Minister was being treated at the neurological division of the hospital, after being injured in an accident on 17 December 2011.
Uruci was involved together with her husband in this accident, and after the severe injuries, she was immediately sent in Austria. She passed away after three months of medical care.
Uruci was involved in politics in the year 2000, as a cabinet member of the government led by former Prime Minister Ilir Meta.
