The former director of the Cadastre of the city of Durrës, Rajmonda Dashi, was arrested today as part of a criminal group of four people who trafficked drugs in Belgium and invested the profits in real estate in Albania.
According to the announcement of the SPAK prosecution, the Special Court imposed “house arrest” for Dashi, while for the other three persons, the brothers Besjan and Roland Ramaj and businessman Ardian Malasi, the measure of “detention” was imposed.
The court also ordered the seizure of 12 apartments in the city of Fier, 4 apartments in Tirana, 3 garages in Tirana, 27 bank accounts; a commercial company and 2 vehicles.
The four accused are charged with the criminal offenses of “laundering the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity”, “Structured criminal group” and “Committing criminal offenses within a structured criminal group”.
Brothers Besjan and Roland Ramaj were convicted by the Belgian authorities for drug trafficking, while Adrian Malasi and Rajmonda Dashi were arrested today by the police.
With the income they obtained from the sale of narcotics, the two brothers invested in real estate in Albania, collaborating with Dashi and the other person.
According to information, a week after leaving the Durrës Cadastre job, she was appointed to the Kamëz-Vorë Cadastre, where she currently worked. She stayed at the Durrës Cadastre for less than four months before resigning.
