The Administrative Court ruled partially in favor of the former Governor
of the Bank of Albania, Ardian Fullani, giving him 12 months of pay due
to an unjust interruption of the employment contract in 2014.
Fullani was removed for negligence after one employee stole 7 million USD from the Bank of Albania vault under his watch.
Fullani considered the measures against him illegal and sued the government for the way how the procedure was handled. He also requested to return to his duty.
The Court ruled that he had lost the credibility to return to that post, but they ruled in favor of him for the violation of procedures. Fullani will receive the salary of one year.
