The administration of Albpetrol has sued the Fier Prosecution, the
former general director of this company, Ferdinand Murati, for power
abuse that mount up to millions of dollars.
Through a press release, Albpetrol announced that after an inspection made by the audit of the Ministry of Energy, they have noted the lack of 3000 tons of crude oil, which mounts up to 1.2 million USD.
According to Albpetrol, Murati has abused with the tenders by favoring a company that has received the goods without making the 9 million USD payment.
According to the agreement, the payment should have been done before. According to Albpetrol, now it is impossible for them to receive the payment. Besides abuses with tenders, Albpetrol says that the former Director has increased illegally the number of employees, causing a damage of 9 million ALL.
Albpetrol came to the conclusion that the former administrator, Ferdinand Murati, has consumed several criminal acts, causing concrete damage in the interests and assets of the company which mounts to millions of USD.
Albpetrol says that they will continue with the verification of other procedures to uncover all violations.
