“For equal justice”

During a training session for the future judges and prosecutors at the
Magistrate School, the US Ambassador to Tirana, Alexander Arvizu, spoke
once again about the incorruptible justice and its efficiency to punish
everyone, regardless its position.

“In US it doesn’t matter if you are a truck driver or a housewife. If you have crossed the limit, you will be punished for that. This can be done by good prosecutors and judges, who will make you pay the consequences of what you have done. We always talk about the rule of law, for the legal system, and after some time we get used to these words. We must understand that the rule of law is a system and in the US, if you get caught, you will pay for what you have done”, Arvizu declared.

The US Ambassador mentioned the loss of a 25-year-old woman in Afghanistan, and the dangers that she had taken in consideration on behalf of her country. This is the same thing that the future judges and prosecutors should bear in mind. In front of any danger, they should remember that they have already made their choice.

“These are the two things that I would ask you to remember: that you made your choice and that you can bring a change”, Arvizu declared.
