Food safety, Muncipality cooperates with NFA

The Agency for the Consumer Protection at the Tirana Municipality and
the National Food Authority signed a cooperation agreement for
controlling the food production and markets in Tirana.
The Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha, declared that these results are expected to give more safety for the consumers.
The Minister of Agriculture, Genc Ruli, declared that similar agreements will be signed with other municipalities throughout Albania.
The food safety in our country is very low. The goods are sold in inconvenient locations, while the inspection of the entire production chain is very poor.
