The Tirana Police declared that they have arrested three citizens who
bought expired goods and changed their dates for selling them again in
the market.

Ilirian Pirra, Nefail jaho and Agim Abdullahi, residents of Tirana, were arrested in the act while they were changing the dates of the expired goods. They stored the goods in a private suburb residence and used several equipments to change the dates of goods such as chips, soft drinks, chocolates, biscuits etc.

Although dangerous for the health of consumers, which has been mentioned in the police declaration, the charge that was raised against them was “illegal production of industrial and edible goods” and “falsification of stamps”.

It has not been categorized as a penal crime, because it seriously changes the consumers’ health.

However, the police has guaranteed their citizens that they are working for gathering all these goods from the shops where they have been sold.
