Flood compensation has started

The government has started the damage compensation phase, caused by the
floods. Prime Minister Edi Rama has returned to a family in the Ferras
village, Fier, which he visited eight days ago and promised the return
of the lost cattle. This family received all the cattle that they lost
from the floods.

The family of Mentor Resulaj received 480 sheep and 340 lambs that were declared lost after the flood.

Rama said that the government kept its word for the promises made since the floods started.

“We arrived here today not only to replace the cattle, as we promised. This is an obligation for these families. This is the day to say that we understand how important is one vote. It could change things for good or for bad. We promised that we would not leave after the rain stopped, but that we would return here even on sunny days. And we turned that into reality”, Rama declared.

The return of the lost cattle is the first compensation phase.
