Fiscal indicators have improved significantly in the first two months of
the year. The Minister of Finances said that preliminary data show that
the budget revenues have increased with 21.%, compared to the same
period of one year ago.
The revenues from taxes and customs, including social insurance contributions, were realized at 103% compared to the plan, or 1.3 billion ALL more.
The revenues from excise have been realized at 5.56 billion ALL, 27.55% more than one year ago, and 12.05% more than the plan.
This was due to the increased import of cigarettes, compared to 2015. There has been a 268% growth of fuels and excise goods.
The mining honorary tax also has dropped, 42% less than the plan, influences by the dropped price of crude oil in the international market. On the other hand, spending for the first two months of 2016 were realized at 86%.
