The mountainous forests in Gjinar, Elbasan, are still on fire in harsh
terrains where it is impossible for firefighters to intervene.
The army and other personnel are still working to put the situation under control, but strong winds and high temperature make it very difficult.
There are doubts for intentional fires, probably competition, since this area has been frequented by many tourists recently.
There are several fire sources throughout the country, while the Civilian Emergency HQ met in Tirana to analyze the situation.
