Fire at wood workshop, 1 injured

Despite the high temperatures, none of the fires in Tirana have happened
due to the weather. The first one broke up today at 10:00, at a wood
workshop, making it much difficult for the firefighters to put it out.
In fact, during the operation, one of the Ministry of Defense
firefighters was injured and three others requested medical attention
due to asphyxiation.

Investigators say that the fire might have been caused by any electrical spark from the appliance of the workshop, which has been completely destroyed.

A few minutes after this, another fire broke up in another road of the Albanian capital, at an old and small house. Investigators suspect that it was arson, for creating construction areas. This is the second time that this building catches fire. The firefighters met difficulties with their pump, and they were obliged to use buckets of water.

The third fire broke up in another area of Tirana, caused by a power transformer.
