The Minister for the Local Government, Bledi Cuci, together with the
Socialist Party Parliament Member, Bashkim Fino, expressed the
determination of the majority to continue their work for the
administrative-territorial reform.
“The Parliament resolved the political blockage at the Commission for Territorial Reform. I invite the opposition colleagues to join this important reform”, Fino declared, also co-chairman of the Commission.
According to him, the meetings for the territorial reform will be transparent. He added that the approval of the territorial reform cannot be postponed forever.
“We must finalize the reform within this Parliamentary session. The new territorial map has nothing to do with the Electoral Code”, Fino declared.
Minister Cuci said they should progress as fast as possible to catch up with the lost time, and promised all inclusiveness.
