The Fier Thermo central, now out of order, has underwent no auction to
be sold for scrap. However, trucks have removed many elements of the
plant by the night, transporting them to scrap metal collection points.
Top Channel’s progra, Fiks Fare, transmitted today the affair that is being made with the Fier Thermo Central, which is a property of the Albanian Energy Corporation.
The auction for its sale will be held after some months, but the work has started since several weeks.
Top Channel reported a similar affair at the Fier Nytrogen Plant, which is a few meters from the Thermo Central.
The Prosecution is investigating the scrap of this plant that doesn’t exist anymore.
