Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of Infrastructure Belinda Balluku were present today at the inauguration of the opening of the Fier road Bypass, part of the North-South Corridor.
“With the completion of this sector, the Fier Bypass is finally finished and from today this important work is available to the public, with all the standards guaranteed after the complete review of the project,” Prime Minister Rama wrote on Facebook.
The head of the government writes that a competition for the so called “Blue Corridor” will be opened in June, which will be connected with the newly finished Fier Bypass, which according to Rama, will fundamentally transform Albania’s tourism road infrastructure.
“This week, the asphalting of the Vlora Bypass starts and an international competition will open for the Llogara Tunnel project. Within June, the competition for the construction of the 120 km axis along the route of the “Blue Corridor”, Milot – Thumanë – Rrogozhinë – Fier, which will be connected with the Fier Bypass and will significantly transform the tourism road infrastructure of Albania ” , Rama wrote.
