The members of the National Fier District have sent a petition to Prime
Minister Berisha, asking him to intervene in resolving the 9-month
institutional stalemate of this council.
The members have listed for the Prime Minister the chronology of all developments; even the verdict of the Vlore Court of Appeal, whcih has declared Mr. Vangjel Ndreca as the representative of the left coalition.
“This absurd situation has paralyzed the activity of the Fier District, which has not taken any decision for the citizens’ interest in the last nine months”, the Petition says.
In front of this situation, they ask the Prime Minister to intervene so that the Constitution can be implemented.
