Fier, city with two District Chairmen

For the Socialist Party, the District Council Chairman is Vangjel Ndreka, as decided by the Court of Appeal in Vlore, which rejected the Democratic Party decision that had elected Artur Shehu for the same post.

The Democratic Party councilors, without taking in consideration the court decision, entered the premises for presenting the chairman elected by them. But at the office was Ndreko of the Socialist Party. For this reason, the presentation of the Democratic Party Chairman was made in another premise, only with the right winged members.

Police allowed only the Socialist Party MPs to enter the premise, while the Socialist leader from Tirana declared that there will be no agreement for the qualified majority laws if the posts of the District Council Chairmen for Fier and Gjirokaster will be stolen.
