Around 85.000 families of the Peshtan Mucaj village in the Frakull
commune, Fier, have remained without electricity for the last 10 days,
after a power transformer was destroyed.

The residents say that they have complained at the prefecture and the CEZ office, but they have found no solution. The lack of energy has left them even without running water, since the water pumps cannot work.

The head of the Frakull Commune, Victor Cervanaku, declared that CEZ has never responded to the requests of this commune, He confirms that he will see the legal possibilities for buying a new power transformer for the hundreds of citizens that are facing blackout.

Sources from the CEZ Company declared that they are expecting a contingent of power transformers in the days to come, since they have no more in stock.
