Fatos Nano: “Government power, not on one hand”

The European University of Tirana gave the Honoris Cause title to the
former Albanian Prime Minister, Fatos Nano, who considered this a very
beautiful gift for his 60th anniversary.
On his speech at the ceremony, Nano underlined the cooperation of the Albanian politics for the common goal, the European Integration.
According to the Prime Minister, the majority should give more space to the opposition in the independent institutions, as the Socialist have done in 8 years of government, according to him.
Nano added that the biggest problem in the current situation is the lack of concentration of projects in areas that would bring success, and not the economic figures that produce a futile debate.
The integration of the academic world in politics, as an indispensable part of it, is a step that should be taken in order for the Albanian politics to progress, Nano added.
