Father used deaf 11-year-old daughter for begging, arrested

Urim Tota was sentenced by the Court of Tirana with 2 years and 6 months
in prison for using his daughter to beg money on the street.

Tota said he was forced by his difficult economic situation, but, while his daughter was staying for hours on the street, he never tried anything to earn money for his family.

He only waited for her to give him the money at home.
