The European MPs who visited Albania recently honored the Albanian painter, Fate Velaj, with the “Europe’s Citizen” reward.
The motivation was for his contribution, by giving to Albania the integration policies of the European Union.
Fate Velaj was honored for the European spirit that he has brought in his hometown, Vlore, and the one he has given to the European Union structures through the activities he has organized and the meetigns with the ambassadors that have represented the EU structures.
In this ceremony was also present the vice President of the European Parliament, Martinez; the Albanian Speaker Jozefina Topalli, the Socialist leader Edi Rama and members of the Albanian Parliament.
