Family members: Extradite Kumbaro

Ardian, the son of Remzi Hoxha, held a press conference in Prishtina for asking the Albanian government, or as he called it, “Berisha’s government”, to not obstruct justice.

He reminded that his father disappeared when Berisha was Presedent, and according to him, Berisha’s people are directly linked with this tragedy and some of them are even holding high rank posts.

“It has been documented that his structures have been directly involved in this murder. Berisha was the one who appointed Bashkim Gazidede and Arben Sefgjini in higher posts, and publicly declared that for as long they are not convicted, they are innocent”.

The Supreme Court in Albania left in act the security measure of imprisonment, taken by the Court of Appeal against the former Secret Service director, Ilir Kumbaro. According to Ardian Hoxha, his family is grateful for this decision, but they are disappointed for not bringing this work to the end, and that this could directly affect Kumbaro’s extradition process.

While Kumbaro’s extradition is being dragged on, a Skopje court officially declared Remzi Hoxha as deceased only a few days ago.
