The Albanian exports fell for the third month in a row this March, by signing the longest negative series since 2009.

Exports have fallen with 12.3%, compared to from January to March of last year, or 64 million less.

The figures show that the cause of this fall, more than the energy, is related with the construction materials and metals.

According to INSTAT, the export of construction materials and metals in the first trimester were 47 million USD lower than the same period of one year ago.

Foreign Commerce is slow for the moment, and the imports have marked a minimal increase.

Imports have increased with 2.1% in value, but the data in volume show a shrinking.
