The three swore experts started this Tuesday the expertise asked by the
Supreme Court, in the premises of a private university, in presence of
three representatives from the General Prosecution, two Court Police
officers and one IT specialist from the prosecution.

These details were confirmed by the General Prosecution and the experts who have a deadline of five days to finish the 18 duties left by the Penal College of the Supreme Court.

One day ago, in presence of the defensive lawyers, the experts took the materials that they will inspect, among which the video file that shows the Deputy Prime Minister, Ilir Meta, together with the former Minister Dritan Prifti.

Sources say that the experts will verify the video file with free software downloaded from the internet, avoiding this way the legal consequences for the users of unlicensed software, after the Prosecutors declared that the experts would have penal consequences if they would use pirated software.

The experts asked the court to clone the laptop hard drive where the files were being held, in order to make the tests, and for this they needed the equipments of the Scientific Police. After the Court asked the Prosecutors, both parties agreed with the condition to warn the lab specialists that they would have consequences if the investigation secret would leak from the lab.

One of the 18 duties that the Court has assigned to the experts, is to verify if the camera-clock was used for making the vide registration, in which is marked the time and the date of this registration, and if the audio can be cleaned in order to clarify the words that are being said.

In fact, the American expert, Glen Bart, who made a full testing of the video file and claimed that it is authentic, but this expertise was considered invalid by the Court, finished the tests in only three days.
