Exhibition at Museum of History

The Ethnographic Pavilion, which is being constructed at the premises of
the National Museum of History, will gather the most important objects
of the cultural heritage.

Among them is an important collection of bladed weapons, some of which had an urgent need for restoration, for which the Museum has been working since the last week.

The Specialist Frederik Stamati spoke about the great importance of these objects and the need to interfere, in order to avoid degradation.

The oldest of the yataghans that are being restored dates from 1813, but specialist Stamati says that some of them might be even older.

Stamati also appeals for more funds for the restoration of these objects, which are endangered by total degradation.
