The flux of thousands of suits through which the companies ask the Court
to order the citizens to pay the bills has obliged the Tirana Court to
change the execution structure.
Unofficial sources say that there are more than 10.000 execution orders at this court, coming from several companies and banks. In order to confront the flux that has paralyzed the Tirana Court, it was decided that the executive orders should be reviewed by all judges of the Tirana Civil Chamber, which covers family, commercial, administrative and civil matters in general, not based on the electronic casual selection that has been used so far.
“The CEZ Company has started bringing 1585 execution orders since January 17th. For avoiding this flux, the Tirana Court has taken its measures and the execution orders will now go by electronic random selection to all judges of all sections. Initially, the execution orders were reviewed only by the civil judges and magistrates”, declared the Spokesperson for the Court, Bujana Tançica.
100 suits are registered each day, in average, with the CEZ Company, the banks, the Aqueduct and other institutions that put the court in motion for obliging the citizens to pay due bills or loans.
“CEZ has brought almost half of the suits, while the banks have execution requests for due payments. Now there is the Aqueduct and the phone companies”, Tançica declared.
The court official statistics show that there is an increasing tendency of the upcoming suits for due loan payments. For the first two months of 2010, as the official court statistics indicate, there have been 723 cases registered in court until 2011, 1093 suits for the first two months of this year and 3489 execution orders requests.
