Excessive alcohol and late hours in bars and pubs. This was the New Year
atmosphere for many young people, some of whom sought for medical help
due to poisoning.
10 people were sent to the ER after being intoxicated by alcohol and food.
Official data show that some were sent to hospital by the police after creating small accidents with light injuries. 18 people in total were sent for specialized health care at the Tirana Hospital, and 17 were treated at the ER.
Dr. Liliana Ramasaco, Director of the ASHR, declared that the ER have worked full time and have given all the necessary help to patients.
