The manufacturing business asked the government for some amends in the
law that removes VAT from imported machineries, since the current law
doesn’t fulfil the goal.
Representatives of the manufacturing business met the Minister of Economy and asked that the law shouldn’t apply only for those that export, but also the ones that produce for the domestic market, which are excluded from the law.
Another request was to avoid bureaucracies that companies are facing to benefit from the law. They are asked a series of procedures, which is not normal, since they are registered businesses.
The third request is the inclusion of VAT for machineries for companies that pay through banks, and not cash, another point excluded from the government decision. According to the manufacturing business, these facilities are important in a time when this industry has declined with 24%, compared to one year ago.
