The Ambassador of the European Union in Albania, Luigi Soreca met today with the new chairman of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi.
In his twitter post, Soreca writes that he congratulated Celibashi on his new task and that they discussed the important challenges that the CEC will face.
“I congratulated Ilirjan Celibashi today for his appointment as the new State Election Commissioner.
“We discussed the important challenges that the CEC will have for the implementation of the June 5 electoral reform, as well as how the EU can provide technical assistance for the upcoming elections in April,” Soreca wrote on twitter.
