Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruci held a meeting with MPs who arrived in Tirana to discuss the possible solution of the political crisis, but their tones seem harsh against the politicians.
“We are running out of patience with the opposition MPs”, said Fleckenstein, the rapporteur for Albania at the European Parliament. ”
“The protests must remain calm, as violent images only delay the country’s integration. The country’s First Lady shouldn’t stop the EU integration process”, he said.
Tunne Kelam, the Romanain MP with the EPP: “EP remains a great supporter of Albania’s accession negotiations. The Judiciary Reform is essential for the citizens’ trust. It is a responsibility of all of you to cooperate for the country’s best interest, as we leave with positive impressions regarding your achievements, but with negative impressions as regards political divisions and lack of cooperation”, he said.
