European Commission rejects Netherlands’ initiative against the people of Albania

The European Commission rejected the request of the Netherlands to bring back the visa regime for the people of Albania.

The European Commission says in a press release that Albania is not in the conditions to be blocked by the mechanism that suspends the free visa travel.

However, the Commission underlines that they will monitor how Albania has fulfilled the conditions.
