Minister Nikolla was in a live interview with the “Evening News Edition”, on Top Channel.

Top Channel: What were the first impressions and emotions after arriving in Albania?

Erkand Qerimaj: First of all, I want to thank the Minister and everyone who organized this reception in the airport. I am thrilled about the result. 24 hours ago we made Israel speak Albanian, because we won the first and second places.

Top Channel: You had a moment of stalemate in your career image. Can we say that wit this medal you have cleaned it now?
 
Erkand Qerimaj: I attended the world championship and as everyone knows, it was a misunderstanding due to the lack of a doctor. But I think that we should enjoy the success of this moment.

TCH: What is your goal after this title?

Erkand Qerimaj: My goal is to win the next world championship. Taking one of the first three places would be a great achievement.

TCH: Mrs.Nikolla, can you tell us something about how we can have fewer problems with sports in the future?

Lindita Nikolla: More work will be done for sport. More support for champions such as Erkand and Daniel Godelli. I am happy that our boys made us proud in Israel. I have new responsibilities for another story about these champions. I have the support of our government and Prime Minister Edi Rama for these champions who deserve a new story.

Erkand Qerimaj: The change is visible. We must keep in mind that this is the first time that an official is welcoming me in the airport, but also considering the declaration of the Prime Minister. We see more awareness of the government about sports. Now we will wait for the next steps.

Lindita Nikolla: There will be only medals which come from a tireless work. We are proud to say that these are the boys of Albania. We must work harder so that other Albanian boys and girls join sports, make the Albanian hymn be heard in important races.
