Euro regaining terrain

After a sudden hit that brought a quick devaluation of the Euro, the currency market seems to turn to normality.

Latest data from the Bank of Albania show that the Euro exchange is returning to the average rates of the recent months.

The Bank says that the European currency is being exchanged with 139.6 ALL, or 3 ALL more than two days ago. Since the beginning of the last month, the Euro lost points almost everyday, and the causes this time were dictated by the inner market.

The currency exchange agencies reported that many citizens rushed to exchange their savings from Euro to Lek, lowering the European currency even to 135 all. But this situation lasted only a few days, and now the euro is turning to normality.

It was initially thought that the causes were the panicked citizens, but some say that the tendency might have been provoked.

The return at normality showed that the only ones to suffer from these sudden fluctuations, were the citizens, who rushed to exchange them for cheaper sums, although the experts warned the public to not hurry.
