The EU mission for law and order, EULEX, will not withdraw its units
from Northern Kosovo and will continue to be present in the area.
The news comes from the Spokesperson for EULEX, Nicholas Hauton, during a press release for the news agency “Beta”.
“EULEX police continues to be present in the north, more specifically in Motrovica, at the premises of the Court, in main crossroads and patrols”, Hauton declared.
The presence of the Eulex in Northern Kosovo was increased after the the operation of the Kosovo Special Forces for taking under control border checkpoints no.1 and 31.
