Eulex extends investigations for July 25th

The prosecutors of the EULEX mission declared that they have extended
their investigations regarding the July 25th incidents in Northern
Kosovo.

The Spokesperson Nicholas Hawton declared that they have collected many proofs that will shed light on many events and will bring many people to justice.

According to the spokesperson, the number of witnesses is 35 and the number of arrest orders has increased.

On July 25th, during the operation of the Kosovo Special Forces in North, one Kosovo policemen was killed and in the days after that several KFOR soldiers have been wounded.

Hawton declares that the arrest orders are mainly against the Serbian residents who have attacked the authorities that are responsible to keep law and order.

“We are conducting intensive investigations for all incidents that have happened. The evidence is being collected and the witnesses are being interrogated”, the Spokesperson declared.

The source has also specified that the investigations regarding this event are being managed by four international prosecutors.
