EULEX blocks Russian aids at border

EULEX blocked a Russian motorcade of humanitarian aids at the Jarinje border checkpoint, according to Koha Ditore.

The motorcade was stopped because they refused to be accompanied by the international troops in Kosovo. In response, the Serbs at the Zveacn Bridge blocked 10 EULEX vehicles with 22 members.

The situation remains tense, because the Russians do not accept to cross the border accompanied by others, while the Serbs do not accept to remove the roadblock that has blocked the KFOR troops.

The Russian Ambassador in Belgrade, Alexander Konuzin, expressed his deep regret and protested on behalf of Moscow for the blocking of their troops in Kosovo.
