What stands out in the joint declaration of the Sofia summit, is that all Balkan Countries are addressed to as Western Balkans, and the Sofia Agenda Priorities is made of six points.

The first point, among the most important ones, is about reinforcing the rule of law and good governance;

improving and supporting the judicial reform and efforts to fight corruption and organized crime, including the construction of corruption-prevention capacities;

It includes the extension of the legal-advisory missions, with increased support from EU member countries;

increased monitoring of reforms through systematic missions for each case;

providing on-terrain monitoring for severe cases of corruption and organized crime;

cooperation for better measuring the results of the judiciary reform;

drafting support for Western Balkan through the European Foundation for Democracy in the areas of independent pluralist media and civil society;

The other areas are about fighting terror, doubling the Erasmus program for Western Balkan Youth and increasing the infrastructural and energetic interaction with the region.
