The European Parliament voted in favor of lifting the visa regime to the citizens of Kosovo.
The initiative was proposed by Slovenian MEP, Tanja Fajon, and was voted with 331 votes in favor, 126 against.
The EP has voted even before for removing the visa regime for Kosovo citizens, but the resolution didn’t convince some Interior Ministers of the block.
“Now it is up to the European Council to do its job”, Fajon wrote on Twitter. “Most of the people voted in favor of liberalizing the visa regime for Kosovo. We appeal the Council to take action”, she insisted.
